Thanks to the considerable interest shown during the recent 2010 Myan Apocalypse Tournament, TWL is hosting a 14th season of RTCW OSP.
Format:
- Default Day and Time: Wednesday nights, 10:00pm EST. An alternate day and/or time may be agreed upon by the teams participating, but all matches MUST be complete by Thursday morning. We will have the following week’s schedule up by Saturday.
- 8 week season
- Length of playoffs will be determined by the number of teams participating.
- 6v6 with panzer
- OSP league config
- During the regular season, tied rounds will result in 1 point to each team, unless the awarded points would result in a win for either team. In such cases, the round will be replayed until an individual team scores a point. During the playoffs, tied rounds will NOT result in points being awarded to either team.
Schedule: Pre-Season: NO PRESEASON.
Match Dates: Beginning Feb 17, 2010 and continuing weekly though the playoffs.

Frostbite, Rocket, Chateau, Keep, Assault, Village, Sub and UFO

Wins - Credited 3 League Points, 1 Win, and Rounds Won/Rounds Lost
Byes - Credited 3 League Points and 1 Win
Forfeit Win - Credited 3 League Points and 1 Win
Loss - Credited 1 League Point and Rounds Won/Rounds Lost
Forfeit Loss - Debited 1 League Point

The fight begins on Thursday January 14th. Enrolment will be closed on Tuesday January 12th. If you’re still thinking about getting your clan or team enrolled – this is the time.
Competition Servers: TBA
Week 1: Base First week’s matchups will be posted on Wednesday, January 13th.
Regular Season Maps mp_base, mp_beach, mp_assault, mp_ice, mp_keep and te_frostbite
League Map Schedule: The Map Schedule for the Leagues are to be strictly adhered to. Teams are not allowed to play any other maps than the one listed for that weeks play. This is not negotiable. Unless the Admin changes the Map for the whole league, teams will play the listed Maps.
Scoring: Best of 5 SW rounds. Winning teams receive 3 league points. Teams who draw both receive 2 league points. Losing teams receives 1 league point. Any team forfeiting will receive 0 league points. Note: Playoff scoring will be different in that no matches will end in a draw.
Match Days and Times: Thursday night is the default day for all matches. Some teams may be asked to voluntarily play on alternate nights. All other matches must be played on the scheduled night unless prior approval is received from the League Admin Staff. Default matches times are 9:30 PM EST. Teams, by mutual agreement, may selected different starting times as long as the match is played on the proper night. Team Captains, please review your rosters! GUID's of each player must be added to your team’s rosters: this can be done by clicking on “My Team” -> “Roster”

Server admins running the punkbuster patch on your server, I strongly advise updating your client file. It is easy! Upload this file to your /s4ndmod folder, restart server and you are done. You can also remove the old one if you would like.

Players, set back and relax this update will happen automatic for you through the http download.
This patch addresses an issue some players were having setting rate lower then 25000.
It also changes some of the default settings on the client end to represent the default values of the game correctly.

PunkBuster is now publicly released. The download link is below. If you are running on vista or windows 7, you must run the game as an administrator (right click and select run as administrator) the first time. Several servers are already running it. If you are a server admin, download the server version and upload it to your server right away!
